The “Veil” series explores the subtle barriers between artist and subject, as well as viewer and portrait, using rich textures and atmospheric oil painting. Figures emerge and recede in layers of light and shadow, inviting us in while holding something just beyond reach, blurring the line between intimacy and mystery.
